Adblock Extensions Released for Windows 10 Edge Browser Users

AdBlock and AdBlock Plus browser extensions have just debuted with Microsoft Edge support, finally allowing users on Windows 10 who want to stick with the default browser to install them too.

At this point, Microsoft Edge does not support extensions in the stable versions of Windows 10, so only members of the Windows Insider program running preview builds can install the new ad blockers. Microsoft is currently testing this feature and planning to release it in the upcoming Anniversary Update coming in the summer.

In order to install these new extensions, all you need to do is to open the store links for AdBlock and AdBlock Plus and click the install button. If you are on the latest builds of Windows 10, everything should complete successfully. … (read more)
