With that out of the way, you can now dive in to see if this game actually worth your time and money. I just downloaded this game last week and I finally made time to play it today and well I personally love it, these action RTS games are usually my favorite games to play on my PC, I can literally spend 5+ hours a day playing them for months without an issue and I have a feeling this is what is about to happen with me with CoH3(Company of Heroes 3). I have played the previous games by the same developers, Company Heroes and Companies of Heroes 2, both are classics to me and I am always one of the first people to recommend the games to friends. With that said, CoH3 really impressed me with the way the developers, Relic Entertainment, who a long with the game publishers, SEGA, have both continued to put in money to fix the many issues and bugs that almost doomed the game when it first was released back in February 2023. I for one I am glad they have not given up on this game despite the ‘mixed’ reviews on their official Steam page.
In this new installment of the Company of Heroes franchise, the game is based around lower region of Europe(Italy) and the North African desert area(of course new maps and campaigns are being added as time goes). Thes game keeps the intense strategy and combat the series is famous for. In Italy, you’ll fight in cities and mountains, making you change how you play depending on the area. The deserts in North Africa are wide open, making fights with vehicles really important, I loved using tanks and having what I call a fake assault that would go in first with a smaller tank and tons of units while my main force would come in from behind with my elite special forces guys and of course the big tanks, I am not a military history guy by any stretch of the imagination so I don’t know what you call this particular strategy but hey, it is working so far, especially on multiplayer, go figure.
As you can see from the animated gif above, I love the newly introduced tactical pause that allows to actually plan out a different strategy in the middle of the war instead of being stuck with what you already set to do a few seconds or minutes before. This is more realistic because in real-life war or battles, you have to change strategies on the fly.

- Limited late-game content: While early-game campaigns and skirmishes are engaging, some players find the late-game options lacking in variety and challenge.
