How to Leave the Windows Insider Program and Use Stable Windows 10 Version 1903
Microsoft is getting close to finalizing another major Windows 10 feature update, as the upcoming May 2019 Update, also known as version 1903, is now in the Release Preview ring.
In other words, Microsoft should begin the public rollout of the May update in approximately 30 days, at which point this OS version should be considered stable and reliable enough for production devices.
Like the previous Windows 10 feature updates, version 1903 was developed with help from insiders. The Windows Insider program improved significantly since its debut in late 2014, and new users sign up to receive preview builds every day.
But at the same time, there are also users out there who decide to leave the program and instead stick with a stable build of Windows 10. The reason is as simple as it could be: running an early version of Windows 10 means dealing with bugs and performance issues, whereas a stable build should technically guarantee a more refined experience.
