HP Envy x2 Leads the Windows 10 on ARM Push with 20 Hours of Battery Life
Just as expected, long-time Microsoft partner HP is one of the first companies to embrace the software giant’s new ideas, so today is announcing an Always Connected PC that can offer up to 20 hours of battery life.
Before you ask, no, that’s not the standby time, but active use autonomy, which means that the new HP device can last for nearly a full day per charge no matter what you do.
It’s all possible thanks to Windows 10 on ARM, a new project that Microsoft developed with Qualcomm and which brings the full version of Windows 10, including Win32 software, on ARM processors that were previously exclusively addressed to smartphones.
