Microsoft Donates Protective Equipment to Front Line Medical Workers

Microsoft is one of the tech giants that are trying to help the front line medical workers fighting with the new coronavirus, and a few minutes ago the company confirmed the first 5 pallets of protecting equipment are now on their way to staff in the Seattle area as a donation.

Microsoft is donating protection goggles, infrared thermometers, medical caps, and protective suits, all of which will be used by doctors to treat patients infected with COVID-19.

“As businesses mobilize, our global supply chain team is hard at work securing much-needed supplies for healthcare workers. On Fri, the first 5 pallets of PPE arrived, including: - 15,000 protection goggles - Infrared thermometers - Medical caps - Protective suits,” Microsoft President Brad Smith said on Twitter.
