Microsoft Releases Major Remote Desktop App Update for iPhone
Microsoft has released a major update for Microsoft Remote Desktop app for iPhone, bringing it to version 10 after more than one year without any significant pack of improvements.
The Remote Desktop client for iOS now comes with support for the Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) service and introduces what Microsoft describes as a “brand-new” Connection Center UI and in-session UI for switching between connected PCs and apps.
When it comes to support for peripherals, the app introduces substantial changes here too, including compatibility with SwiftPoint Bluetooth mice, microphone, camera, and local storage redirection, as well as a new layout for the auxiliary on-screen keyboard.
Of course, Microsoft Remote Desktop for iOS also adds support for the latest iPhones and iPads, so if you recently purchased the iPhone 11 or the iPhone 11 Pro Max, everything should be working correctly.
