Microsoft Releases the September 2022 Windows 10 Cumulative Updates
Microsoft has released the September 2022 cumulative updates for Windows 10 devices, and needless to say, only the versions of the operating system that are still getting support are being provided with the new patches.
Given the rollout takes place on Patch Tuesday, the focus is mostly on security improvements, though it goes without saying that some other non-security bugs might also be resolved by these updates.
Microsoft, however, hasn’t provided too many details on the updates, with the official KB pages claiming the patches are supposed to “address security issues for the Windows operating system.”
The following cumulative updates are now available for Windows 10 devices:
- Windows 10 version 1507 — KB5017327 (OS Build 10240.19444)
- Windows 10 version 1607 — KB5017305 (OS Build 14393.5356)
