Microsoft Releases Windows 10 19H1 Build 18358 as RTM Is Just Around the Corner
Microsoft has just released yet another build for Fast ring insiders as the company is getting closer to the moment it should sign off the RTM.
Windows 10 build 18358 doesn’t bring any new features, and that makes perfect sense. At this advanced stage of the development process, Microsoft’s only priority is to iron out bugs in the operating system and refine the performance ahead of the public launch.
New features would only require more testing, so it’s safe to say that at this point, Windows 10 19H1 is feature-locked.
As for what’s new in this build, it all comes down to bug fixes, and for example, Microsoft says it has correct an issue where certain upgrade paths could result in the contents of the Recycle Bin being left under Windows.old. Also, Microsoft fixed an issue causing some insiders to encounter a fatal crash – also known as Green Screen of Death in the Windows Insider program.
