Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Build 21382
Microsoft has just released Windows 10 build 21382 for Windows Insiders in the Dev channel, and the biggest change in this update is the introduction of HDR support for color managed apps.
Needless to say, software like Adobe Photoshop is the one to benefit from this update, with Microsoft explaining that it has added a new option in the Compatibility tab of each process on Windows 10.
“HDR mode changes the behavior of some creative and artistic apps that use International Color Consortium (ICC) display color profiles, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom Classic, and CorelDraw (amongst others). In the past, these apps were limited to targeting the sRGB color gamut,” Microsoft explains in the official release notes.
