Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Cumulative Update KB4041688
Microsoft has rolled out another cumulative update for Windows 10 devices, this time specifically aimed at those running the Anniversary Update.
Windows 10 cumulative update KB4041688 bumps version number to 14393.1794, and it includes a long list of improvements, as well as some known issues that everyone should have a look at before installing the patch.
First and foremost, it’s important to note that the focus is on bug fixes, with no new features or security patches, as the latter are typically released on Patch Tuesday. On the other hand, given that cumulative update KB4041688 refines performance of the operating system, it’s still the kind of release that users are recommended to install – of course, in case no major issues are being reported.
