Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Cumulative Update KB5007253

Microsoft has recently released a new cumulative update for Windows users who are part of the Release Preview channel in the Windows Insider program.

The new cumulative update is aimed at Windows 10 version 21H2 and 21H1 builds, and given it’s only aimed at insiders, it obviously doesn’t bring a lot of changes.

Cumulative update KB5007253 therefore increases the OS build number to 19044.1381 and 19044.1381, respectively, and it comes specifically to resolve a problem impacting Windows Hello.

“We fixed an issue that might affect devices that use Windows Hello for Business and are joined to Azure Active Directory (AD). These devices might experience issues when they access on-premises resources, such as file shares or websites,” Microsoft explains.
