Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Cumulative Updates KB4093117 and KB4093120
Microsoft has just released new Windows 10 cumulative updates for the Anniversary Update (1607) and Creators Update (1703) to introduce a series of quality improvements.
Windows 10 Creators Update is getting cumulative update KB4093117, which pushes build number to 15063.1058 and comes with a long change log that you can read in full in the box after the jump.
But several improvements are still worth highlighting, including a fix for an issue that caused Microsoft Edge browser to become unresponsive a few seconds after launch when running a software restriction policy.
Most of the changes in this cumulative update are aimed at enterprises, as it’s the case of a bugfix for Windows Hello. The company says that it discovered a bug which prevented Windows Hello “from generating good keys when it detects weak cryptographic keys because of TPM firmware issues. This issue only occurs if the policy to require the TPM is configured.”
