Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Cumulative Updates KB4517389, KB4519338, KB4520008

Microsoft has published a series of new cumulative updates for Windows 10 as part of the October 2019 Patch Tuesday cycle.

The list of cumulative updates includes new releases for all Windows 10 versions, albeit you should know that only version 1803, or April 2018 Update, and newer are still supported for Home and Pro SKUs.

Windows 10 April 2018 Update will also reach the end of support next month, with Microsoft to continue supporting Home and Pro versions for Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809) and newer.

No failed installs so far

Because these updates land on Patch Tuesday, the focus is obviously on security fixes, and Microsoft says in the release notes that improvements for browsers and other components are included. Furthermore, Microsoft says these cumulative updates resolve a bug detailed in CVE-2019-1318.
