Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Redstone 3 Build 16281
After rolling out the first Windows 10 Redstone 4 build earlier this week for users in the Skip Ahead channel, Microsoft came back on late Friday to ship another Redstone 3 build, this time aimed at those whose devices are configured for the Fast ring.
Since the Windows 10 Redstone 3 (officially called Windows 10 Fall Creators Update) is now in the final stages, new builds don’t bring any new features, but only performance refinements and bug fixes, and this is one of the reasons they arrive at a much faster pace.
This is the case of Windows 10 Redstone 3 build 16281 as well, which introduces 6 general fixes which you can see in full in the box after the jump.
One very important improvement concerns CPU usage, as Microsoft has identified a problem causing CPU spikes when the mouse was not being used.
