Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Redstone 4 Build 17074
Microsoft has just released a new build for Windows Insiders in the Fast and Skip Ahead rings, though it’s worth noting that AMD processors that were impacted by bugs with Meltdown and Spectre updates won’t be getting it.
There are lots of new features coming in this build, and one of the most important is the redesigned localization of Windows. Language packs are now available in the Microsoft Store and the Language section of the Settings app, with the company turning to Artificial Intelligence and neural network-based Machine Learning to improve the feature.
“Having the Local Experience Packs in the Microsoft Store allows us to take advantage of ML improvements and user feedback via Language Community App to release better translations more frequently. This will consistently improve the experience of our international customers with Windows,” Dona Sarkar, head of the Windows Insider program, explains.
