Microsoft Says It Latest Windows 10 Cumulative Updates Are (Almost) Good to Go
The latest cumulative updates for Windows 10 are said to provide an almost flawless experience on the majority of devices, and truth be told, I’m only seeing isolated reports of failed installs and post-installation issues so far.
Microsoft’s new cumulative updates were published on the October 8 Patch Tuesday for all Windows 10 versions. For consumer versions of Windows 10 (Home and Pro SKUs), the available cumulative updates are the following:
Windows 10 version 1903: KB4517389 (OS Build 18362.418)
Windows 10 version 1809: KB4519338 (OS Build 17763.805)
Windows 10 version 1803: KB4520008 (OS Build 17134.1069)
And judging from Microsoft’s official changelogs, there’s not much to be worried about when installing these cumulative updates.
