Microsoft Says Old NVIDIA Drivers Break Down Edge on Windows 10 Version 1809

Microsoft has just acknowledged a new bug in Windows 10 version 1809 (October 2018 Update), revealing that the Microsoft Edge browser could crash when running older NVIDIA drivers.

The company lists this problem as a known issue for Windows 10 version 1809 cumulative update KB4467708, and says that it was actually discovered by NVIDIA itself.

NVIDIA then reported the bug to Microsoft, and new drivers that were released earlier this week come to resolve it. As a result, users whose systems have already been updated to version 1809 need to get the latest NVIDIA drivers to make sure their experience with the Edge browser isn’t affected.
