Microsoft Teams Goes Down Due to High Usage

Microsoft Teams is currently experiencing connectivity issues in Europe, most likely to the high usage recorded as people stay home due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Microsoft is yet to acknowledge the problem, but the downtime showed up on Monday morning when the number of connected users is believed to have reached another all-time high.

There are several reports on DownDetector from people claiming they are no longer able to connect to Microsoft Teams, and many claim the issues still persist at the time of writing this article.

Of course, there’s nothing you can do right now than wait, as Microsoft is the only one to resolve the issue. The official communications channel that Microsoft uses to confirm such incidents are currently tight-lipped on everything related to Microsoft Teams.
