Students Stuck at Home Due to COVID-19 Turn to Minecraft to Celebrate Graduation

The coronavirus outbreak is keeping people from all over the world home in an attempt to avoid the infection, and needless to say, most authorities have already closed schools to protect students.

In Japan, schools remaining closed during this time of the year means many students would actually miss their graduation ceremonies, something that many of them have anticipated for so long.

But because they have no other option than to stay inside, a bunch of elementary school graduates came with the innovative idea of celebrating their graduation using a digital party created in the Microsoft-owned game Minecraft.

As SoraNews24 reports, lots of elementary students gathered to celebrate the graduation in a virtual version of their schools, all without any teachers or faculty staff being involved.
