The First Microsoft Surface Duo Firmware Update Is Live
Microsoft has officially started selling the Surface Duo Android device, and because the company wants everybody to be provided with the best possible experience, the very first firmware update is already available too.
In other words, a firmware update is offered to the Surface Duo on day one, which means that the moment you complete the initial setup and check for updates, you should be provided with an update for your device.
The September 10 firmware update for the Surface Duo is available for both unlocked devices and those locked on AT&T. For the unlocked Surface Duo, the firmware version is 2020.812.86, while on AT&T it is 2020.812.87.
The changelog includes new device stability improvements, as well as refinements for camera stability, performance, and image quality. Furthermore, the Surface Duo is getting improved application gestures for dismissing and moving apps to full screen, as well as extra tweaks for the calling experience.
