What’s New in Windows 10 Cumulative Update KB4034658

One of the August 8 cumulative updates released by Microsoft for Windows 10 systems is specifically aimed at the Anniversary Update, also known as version 1607 and released in the summer of 2016.

Windows 10 cumulative update KB4034658 comes with only 3 lines of changes in the release notes, and the most visible difference is that it bumps OS version number to 14393.1593.

As for the improvements, Microsoft says that it fixes an issue causing some apps to be sometimes displayed with a border when the device is being used in tablet mode, as well as a bug caused by the previous cumulative updates and blocking specifics apps from launching when the device resumed from Connected Standby mode.
