Who’s Ready for New Windows 10 Cumulative Updates?

Microsoft is getting ready to begin another Patch Tuesday rollout that would bring security fixes for its software, and just like every month, Windows 10 is projected to receive cumulative updates as well.

For Windows 10 users, cumulative updates are particularly critical because they bring a computer fully up-to-date when installed. Deploying the most recent cumulative update patches all the known issues, as all the previously released fixes are included.

This is the reason cumulative updates are growing in size with every release, but Microsoft is also shipping delta updates, which include all the changes made from the previous update and are exclusively released for systems already up-to-date.

This month’s Patch Tuesday cycle will bring cumulative updates for all Windows 10 versions, though it’s worth mentioning that the original release (10240) and the November Update (version 1511) no longer receive support for home users, but only as part of the LTSB branch…. (read more)
