Windows 10 Cumulative Update KB4464330 Fails, Installs Correctly on Second Try

The number of users who managed to download and install Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809) during the few days it was up for grabs isn’t huge.

However, because the OS comes with several major bugs, Microsoft rolled out cumulative update KB4464330 on Patch Tuesday to deliver not only security improvements, but also fixes for some of these issues.

But as it turns out, the experience with cumulative update KB4464330 isn’t exactly flawless for some users. And according to reports on reddit, for instance, the update fails to install on the first attempt, but completes correctly on the second.
