Windows 10 Mail App Finally Gets Rich Text Signature Support
Microsoft has rolled out a silent yet super-important update for the default Mail app in Windows 10 that brings support for rich text signatures.
The new version that brings this feature is 17.9226.21485.0, and it is available for both insiders and users running Windows 10 April 2018 Update. One of our systems enrolled in the Skip Ahead ring and running this particular Mail app version didn’t get the new signature feature though.
Until now, the signature feature in the Mail app only allowed users to add text and nothing more, but with this update, the Windows 10 app behaves just like any other more advanced email client.
In other words, you can create an email signature that includes things like images and links, while also being able to change fonts, dimensions, and colors. The new signature UI opens in a dedicated window, whereas the previous settings were launched in a flyout.
