Windows 10 Version 2004 Gets a New Location Icon and Task Manager Updates
Microsoft has released a new build for Windows insiders in the Fast ring, and the biggest changes this time are the addition of a new location icon and Task Manager improvements.
Windows 10 20H1, officially referred to as version 2004, has already been finalized, and it is projected to be shipped to production devices in the spring.
Windows 10 build 19541 thus comes with a new location icon that is displayed in the system tray whenever an app is using your device’s location. If until now Windows 10 was using a circle as a location indicator, version 2004 will make the switch to an arrow symbol that aligns with what other operating systems, like Android and iOS, are using, obviously becoming a little more straightforward when it comes to warning users that location data is accessed.
