Windows 11 Cumulative Update KB5013943 Now Available for Download

It’s Patch Tuesday, so it’s time for Microsoft to ship new cumulative updates, including for its latest operating system version.

Windows 11 is therefore getting a new cumulative update as well, with KB5013943 increasing the OS build number to 22000.675.

Since it’s a Patch Tuesday release, this cumulative update is mostly focused on security improvements, and Microsoft explains in the official changelog that it also resolves two very important bugs in the operating system.

The first of them concerns .NET Framework 3.5 apps, as some of them have been broken while the second causes a screen flickering glitch in Safe Mode on Windows 11.

“Addresses a known issue that might cause issues for some .NET Framework 3.5 apps or prevent those apps from opening. The affected apps use certain optional components in .NET Framework 3.5, such as Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Windows Workflow (WWF) components,” Microsoft explains.
