The performance of configuring power settings within the Settings app has been improved. The chkdsk disk-checking tool has been updated to handle volume paths containing spaces when they are enclosed in quotes, such as chkdsk "C:\My Volume\SD Card". An unexpected error message that previously appeared when opening the Group Policy Editor has also been removed.

Microsoft reiterates important context for Canary Channel participants. These builds are the earliest in the development cycle and are not tied to any specific upcoming Windows release. Features are often rolled out gradually to a small subset of Insiders first via Control Feature Rollout technology.
