Microsoft Releases Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26300.7760 to Dev Channel
Microsoft announced the release of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26300.7760 (KB5077202) to the Dev Channel on June 28, 2024. The update introduces new features, improvements, and fixes, available gradually to testers who enable the “get the latest updates” toggle in Windows Update.
Emoji 16.0 is now rolling out to Insiders, adding seven new emojis designed for broad cultural relevance. These include options like “Face with Bags Under Eyes” and “Harp,” accessible via the emoji panel. Microsoft encourages feedback through Feedback Hub under “Input and Language > Emoji panel.”
Camera settings receive new functionality, with pan and tilt controls now available for supported devices under Settings > Devices & drivers > Cameras. This allows users to adjust camera angles directly within the OS. Feedback can be submitted under “Devices and Drivers > Device Camera or Webcams.”
General improvements address visual and performance issues, such as smoother interactions when the taskbar is set to autohide, reduced desktop icon flashing, and optimized credential prompts from Windows Security.
