How to Download and Install on PC
Far Far West is available on Steam for Windows 10 and Windows 11. You need a free Steam account to buy and play it. An SSD is recommended for faster load times.
- Step 1. Download and install the Steam app from store.steampowered.com if you do not have it already.

Far Far West is a co-op shooter built around a simple premise: you are a robot cowboy, the West is full of monsters, and someone has to deal with it. 5 Tips for Your First Contracts
The Far Far West wants to kill you. Here is how to make it harder for it.
Pick a role and commit to it.
The perk system (bonus abilities you unlock as you play) rewards specialization. Decide early whether you are the damage dealer, the healer, or the headshot specialist and build toward that. A team where everyone tries to do everything is less effective than one where each player has a clear role. Talk to your crew before the first contract drops.
Learn when to extract, not when to push.
Getting greedy and pushing deeper than you are geared for is how most teams wipe. Complete the main objective, grab what gear you can, and call for extraction (leaving the zone safely). The bounty from a completed contract is worth more than the extra gear from a failed push that sends everyone back to square one.
Experiment with spell combinations early.
The spell combination system is one of the game’s best features and most players ignore it in the first few sessions. Try casting alongside a teammate and pay attention to what happens. Some combinations clear entire rooms. Once you find two or three that work well with your group, start building your perks to make those combinations hit harder.
Prioritize weapon and spell upgrades over cosmetics.

If the team spots a side mission and is in good shape, take the few minutes to finish it before heading to the exit.
