Microsoft has announced the release of Windows 11 Builds 26100.7015 and 26200.7015 to Insiders in the Release Preview Channel. This update brings a range of new features and improvements to the operating system, including a redesigned Start menu. The new Start menu features a scrollable "All" section, category and grid views, and a responsive layout that adapts to the user’s screen size. Additionally, the Start menu now includes a mobile device button that allows users to expand or collapse content from their connected phone.
The update also introduces Fluid Dictation in voice access, which makes voice-based dictation smoother and smarter. Fluid Dictation is powered by on-device small language models and offers fast and private processing. Users can also configure a delay before a voice command is executed, and Voice Access now supports Japanese, expanding accessibility for more users.
Click to Do has also been enhanced, with a new prompt box that streamlines interaction with Copilot. Users can type a custom prompt directly into the text box, which sends the prompt and selected on-screen content to Copilot. Click to Do also provides unit conversions, translation, and the ability to detect tables, which can be sent to Excel.
The update also includes improvements to File Explorer, including recommended files in File Explorer Home, which are now available in personal Microsoft accounts and local accounts. File Explorer also features a new hover-over experience, which provides commands such as "Open file location" or "Ask Copilot".
The Taskbar has also been updated, with improved battery icons that display colored indicators and battery percentage. Users can also enable the ability to see the battery percentage next to the battery icon in the system tray. The Lock screen now features the new battery icons, and the Microsoft 365 Copilot page has been added to the Get Started experience for commercial devices managed with an active Microsoft 365 subscription.

The update improves the performance of loading the taskbar when unlocking the PC after coming out of sleep and addresses an issue that caused an ACCESS_DENIED error when users attempted to change passwords remotely on member servers or workgroup devices.
