Microsoft has announced the rollout of a new update for the Microsoft Copilot app on Windows. With this feature, users can perform natural language searches across all their connected services, making it easier to find content across multiple accounts. For example, users can ask Copilot to retrieve information like email addresses or notes from last week, and the app will provide relevant results from the connected accounts.

The connectors feature is opt-in, and users can grant access by opening the Settings page in the Copilot Windows app and enabling the desired services. This feature allows users to link both Microsoft and third-party accounts to Copilot, providing a more seamless and integrated experience. Microsoft has also introduced a new feature that enables users to create and export content into multiple file formats with a simple prompt. Users can generate Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, or PowerPoint presentations directly from their Copilot session.

This feature allows users to turn ideas, notes, and data into shareable and editable documents with no extra steps or tools required. For responses with 600 characters or more, Copilot also includes a default export button that lets users send text directly to Word, PowerPoint, Excel, or PDF. The Copilot app update, version 1.25095.161.0 and higher, is being rolled out across all Insider Channels via the Microsoft Store. However, the features are being rolled out gradually, so not all Insiders will receive the update immediately.
