Microsoft has rolled out Windows Insider Preview Build 29550.1000 to participants in the Windows 11 Insider Canary Channel. This release is part of the optional 29500 build series and represents a shift to a new active development phase. The build includes several user-facing changes and improvements, many of which are being introduced gradually through feature toggles for a subset of Insiders.
A standout addition is Emoji 16.0, which introduces a small, thoughtfully curated set of new emojis, with one from each major category. For supported cameras, the Settings app now includes controls for pan and tilt. Some features might appear first in the Dev or Beta Channels before reaching Canary.
