CRACK is a co-op incremental game for PC from Rafoli, available on Steam. You work at a lab with a giant egg in it, and your job is to break it open. Every piece of shell you knock off earns money, and that money buys better ways to break the rest.
You start with a pickaxe and a chisel. By the end, your crew is using dynamite, scaffolding and robots to get to the middle of the egg. Along the way, the lab itself opens up, with hidden rooms and more than one ending.
It came out on October 26, 2026. You can play alone or with up to three friends online, and it has full controller support. It is made by a solo developer who built it in public from day one.

What You Need to Know
- On PC it is sold only on Steam. It is not on the Epic Games Store or GOG.
- The name is the whole pitch: you crack an egg. It has nothing to do with cracked or pirated games.
- It runs on modest hardware. The minimum is a GTX 1050 Ti class graphics card, 8 GB of RAM and 3 GB of storage.
- Play solo or in online co-op with up to four players. Each player needs their own copy.

What Is CRACK?
CRACK is a first-person co-op game set inside a lab run by Hatch Corp. In the middle of the lab sits an egg the size of a building. Nobody tells you why it is there or who built the place. You are just told to crack it.
Early on, it is you, a pickaxe and a lot of shell.
The loop is easy to learn. You break off shell and dig out what is underneath, carry it in buckets to a sell point, and spend the money at the equipment shop. Better tools break the egg faster, which earns money faster, which buys better tools. Tools wear down as you use them, so part of your budget always goes to replacements.
The equipment shop sorts gear into tiers, from Standard tools up to dynamite and beyond.
Work happens in shifts that last a few real-time minutes. When the shift ends, you have to get back to your bunk. Stay on the floor and you pay for the “complimentary” sedative, which comes out of your wallet.
The egg is not just a wall of shell, either. It reacts to how hard you push it, and the lab has equipment to watch it and calm it down. As you finish tasks, new rooms open up, including a robotics bay, a garage and a break room with a money wheel and a basketball hoop.
Scaffolding gets your crew up to the middle and top of the egg.
It plays best with friends. Up to four players share the lab, each with their own wallet. A transfer device lets you pool money when one big upgrade matters more than four small ones.

Key Features
Pickaxes crack the shell, chisels pry pieces loose, and shovels dig underneath. Each tool comes in better versions as your budget grows.
Every shift runs on a short real-time clock. Miss the walk back to your bunk and the sedative bill is yours.
Play solo or with three friends online. Everyone keeps their own wallet, and a transfer device lets you pool money for big buys.
Later upgrades swap hand work for explosives, climbable scaffolding, golf carts and a robotics bay that automates part of the job.
Hidden doors, locked areas and multiple endings give you a reason to look around between swings.
Work orders pay out, quotas pay bonuses, and the break room has a money wheel that can win you cash or lose it.

Our Take
🎮 Our Take
CRACK has a silly name and a simple idea, and the idea is the good part. One giant egg gives the whole game a clear goal you can see from anywhere in the lab, and every upgrade visibly chews more of it away. The shift clock, the sedative bill and the money wheel add the same kind of workplace comedy that made Lethal Company and R.E.P.O. fun with friends. It is a small game from one developer, and its launch-week hotfixes fixed connection hangs and a softlock, so it did ship with some rough edges. Check the patch notes before you buy to see where it stands.
If you have a group of two to four looking for a cheap co-op night, buy it. The price and the hardware bar are both low. If you play alone and love incremental games, it is still worth a look, since the upgrade loop works solo. If you want a big world or a game with no end point, skip this one. It is one lab and one egg, built to be finished.
System Requirements
These are the requirements Rafoli lists on Steam. Most gaming PCs from the last several years clear the minimum spec, and the install is only 3 GB.
Both specs need a 64-bit processor and operating system. If your PC falls short, our Best Gaming Desktops guide is a good place to start.
Tips for Beginners
Watch the shift clock
Start heading to your bunk before the shift ends. Getting caught on the floor costs you the sedative fee.
Spread out your hits
Hitting the same spot over and over winds the egg up faster. Work across the shell instead of digging one hole.
Process before you sell
Some materials sell for more after they go through the processing machine, so it is worth the short detour.
Split the work in co-op
Have some players crack while others haul buckets to the sell point, then pool money with the transfer device for big upgrades.
Treat the wheel as a gamble
The money wheel can pay out or take your cash. Skip it when you are saving for a tool you need.
