Schedule I is a crime business simulator for PC from TVGS, available on Steam. You arrive in the city of Hyland Point with no money and build a drug empire from a motel room. You make product, sell it to customers, and grow into properties, staff and a fully automated operation.

It plays like a management game wearing a crime comedy costume. The real hook is turning a one-person hustle into a business that runs itself. Police patrols and a rival cartel push back as you grow.

It came out in Early Access on March 24, 2025, and many players search for it as Schedule 1. It runs on Windows 10 and 11, plays solo or with up to four people in co-op, and gets free updates.

What Is Schedule I?

Schedule I starts in the desert with your uncle, who gets arrested at the end of the tutorial. You flee to Hyland Point, rent a motel room and start small, answering customer texts and meeting them around town. Every sale earns money and reputation, which unlock new products, suppliers and parts of the city.

Mixing everyday ingredients into a product changes its effects and its price.

The comedy comes from the mixing system. Adding ordinary items such as energy drinks or painkillers to a product changes what it does to customers, from new hair colors to stranger effects, and the right recipe sells for far more. You walk, skate or drive across town to deliver, and police searches, roadblocks and a night curfew make every trip a risk.

Later on, hired staff run whole production lines while you manage the business.

As money comes in, you buy bigger properties, hire botanists, chemists, cleaners and dealers, and launder cash through businesses such as a car wash. The Benzies, a rival cartel, demand a cut or attack your dealers, and pushing them out is how you open up the rest of the map.

Our Take

🎮 Our Take

Schedule I is a sharp management game hiding inside a crime comedy. The early hours of texting customers and running deliveries are slow, but the moment your first hired staff take over a production line, it clicks, and building a business that runs itself is satisfying. One developer started it, and updates come regularly with community votes deciding big features. To be plain: it is a comedy about dealing drugs, and the tone is silly rather than serious, but that subject will rule it out for some players.

If you enjoy management sims and the theme does not bother you, buy it, and bring a friend or three for co-op. If you want polish, a big map and a finished story, wait for the full release. If the subject sits wrong with you, skip it.

System Requirements

These are the specs TVGS lists on Steam. The minimum is a mid-range PC from several years ago, but big late-game operations ask for more.

Schedule I PC Requirements
Minimum and recommended, as published on Steam
Component Minimum Recommended
OS Windows 10, 64-bit Windows 10, 64-bit
Processor 3 GHz 4-core or similar 3.5 GHz 6-core or similar
Memory 8 GB RAM 16 GB RAM
Graphics Nvidia GTX 1060 6 GB or AMD RX 580 Nvidia RTX 3060 or AMD RX 6700
DirectX Version 11 Version 11
Storage 8 GB available space 10 GB available space

A large property full of staff and machines is the heaviest load, so the recommended 16 GB of RAM matters more as your empire grows. The gamepad update also brought optimizations that TVGS says made the game run noticeably faster. If you are shopping for a new machine, our Best Gaming Desktops guide is a good place to start.

Tips for Beginners

1

Answer customer texts fast

Customers order through your phone. Quick, reliable deals build their trust and bring repeat orders.

2

Experiment with mixing

Try ordinary ingredients on your product. A good recipe can sell for far more than the base version.

3

Respect the curfew

Police get stricter at night. Plan deliveries for the day, and avoid carrying stock past checkpoints.

4

Hire help early

A dealer and a botanist save hours of busywork. Keep enough cash to pay their daily wages.

5

Launder your cash

Buy a front business and run cash through it, so your money is usable and safer from searches.

Best Schedule I Mods to Start With

Schedule I has no Steam Workshop. Mods run through MelonLoader, a free mod loader, and most are shared on Nexus Mods, with some on Thunderstore. Install MelonLoader once, then drop mod files into the game’s Mods folder. These four were all updated recently and are a good start.

💡 These are fan-made mods, not official ones. Some fake mods for Schedule I have carried malware, so download only from Nexus Mods or Thunderstore and consider the MLVScan plugin, which checks mods before they run. Export your save first, check that each mod supports your game version, and in co-op make sure everyone runs the same mods.
