Top 5 Free Windows Web Hosting Companies That Are Reliable

Free Windows Web Hosting

A list of the top free Windows web hosting companies.

Hello everyone, how are you all doing today? I have been busy teaching myself ASP.net Administration, mostly Visual Studio commands and how to work with MySQL & MSSQL on a Windows machine.. I have some experience with Windows hosting, in the early 2000’s I had a Windows dedicated server which I absolutely loved and quiet honestly, it was much easier to manage than any of my Linux servers and I truly mean that! I think that is because I am very familiar with Windows and most problems that came up could be easily identified. Anyway, lets focus on the topic of this post, and below I will give you guys the best free windows web hosting websites I have personally collected over the past few months, if you find a problem or if you believe I should replace a company on this list, leave a comment and I will investigate.

Free Windows Web Hosting vs Paid Web Hosting

Not all of us have enough money to buy web hosting, let a lone Windows aka ASP.NET web hosting which is typically more expensive than Linux web hosting for various reasons.

It’s not a bad idea to try out free ASP.NET & ASP hosting because a lot of you reading this are probably new to Windows hosting and it is different from Linux hosting, you can always upgrade to a paid Windows hosting plan but I would recommend you start off with a free one to make sure you learn the basics of how to manage your web site on a Windows server.

The main difference being that Windows Hosting is not supported by CPanel, the most popular control panel world wide. To make up for the lack of Cpanel for Windows, Windows has Plesk and Zpanel to make up for the lack of Cpanel and honestly, Zpanel is good enough. Luckily all of these free web hosts we have listed below have some sort of control panel that will make it easy to manage your web site. Anyway, enjoy the list!

I love everything to do with Microsoft Windows, and the new Windows 10 is great so far. I love to spend my time researching on how viruses and bacteria work in my personal lab. I also enjoy history and comics.
